DRINK STEAM
DRINK STEAM
Join us for an evening full of free live music from local artists and local beer from Anchor Brewing Company!

SOL Development, a Hip-Hop/Jazz/Soul ensemble based out of Oakland, is the soundtrack to the movement for justice, freedom and hope. Mino Yanci translates to mean musical freedom from two African languages as their jazzy and soulful music takes listeners on a journey. Playing together, SOL Development and Mino Yanci were the winners of Anchor Brewing’s Annual Battle of the Bands and therefore will be headlining this special Drink Steam showcase.

Ghost & the City’s sensuous trip-hop jazz sound is clad with spectral grooves, caressing textures and luminescent melodic hooks.

And you know what goes well with live music (and life in general, for that matter)? Cold beer from Anchor Brewing, San Francisco’s iconic brewery. Enjoy $1 off Anchor Steam Beer, Anchor California Lager, and San Franpsycho IPA so come thirsty!

Ghost & The City
Ghost & The City
Ghost & the City is a shining example of how style, experience and talent ally to create music that embodies elements of jazz, swing, trip-hop, pop and soul. Ghost travels across numerous musical genres to appeal to many tastes, creating music that defies conventionality, yet solidifies a distinctive sound.

"Ghost & the City serves up a perfect musical cocktail of blues, jazz, rock and Motown. At times, the band is grooving as if it were performing in a 1930s speakeasy, adding haunting horns to the mix. But it also fits in as a sound of city life in 2012. There is joy and anger equally balanced in its compositions. The band's music is a soundtrack for questionable shadows lurking in dark alleys." -- San Francisco Chronicle
