MIDTOWN SOCIAL
MIDTOWN SOCIAL
It’s time to stretch, hydrate, and double-knot your dancing shoes, because San Francisco’s favorite soul party band, Midtown Social, is back with their first full-length release. Their freshly squeezed blend of California soul, funk, and rock is downright irresistible. Midtown Social is a nine-piece tour-de- force. But it’s more than just a band. Together, these nine musicians are a collaborative community of writers, arrangers and artists. When they’re on stage, they invite you into the family. The mission is to spread the message of positive social change through art and music. MTS serves up food for hungry souls—fuel for a revolution of free, open and creative thought. Deeply inspiring and guaranteed to make you sweat just as much as it makes you think, Midtown Social presents a message of solidarity and hope, voiced by a community of people who are as diverse, bold, authentic, and vulnerable as the community in which they were forged. Midtown Social asks us all to come together, to find common ground, love and camaraderie, to fight for our communities, way of life, and rights—and to stand together as one.
Kingsborough
Kingsborough
Forged from the soul and tradition of rock n’ roll legends before them, KINGSBOROUGH breathes new life into the music that has inspired generations. As an emerging band from the San Francisco Bay Area, their raw high-energy performances and powerhouse vocals have made KINGSBOROUGH a standout among their peers. They seduce with their rhythm-heavy rock n’ roll mixed with soulful harmonious instrumentation and storytelling lyrics. No Depression hails; “The vintage elegance of Kingsborough’s music sets an endearing reminiscence of boundless regularities that has been altered to appeal to an ever-changing musical audience.” The band has quickly become a fan and critic favorite with singles such as “Low Down" and “Subtle Lies” off their current album, which spent 6 weeks on college radio Top 200 and is currently featured on Spotify’s “Blues & Roots Rock” playlist.

Building a reputation for an incomparable live concert experience has lead KINGSBOROUGH to perform at BottleRock Napa Valley, opening for Joan Jett and being awarded the opening slot with ZZ Top at the sold out Wells Fargo Center in their hometown Santa Rosa, CA. BAM magazine describes their performance as “rocking it like the big boys used to… in the same way that Springsteen has always done.” Front man, Billy Kingsborough, has once even been described as being “Joe Cocker’s soul re-incarnated”.
Ellisa Sun
Ellisa Sun
In a world where cookie cutter sounds dominate the musical landscape, Ellisa Sun has forged her own path. Ellisa combines elements of '60s R&B, soul, and bossanova with an ever-expanding palette of modern textures and explorations of new production techniques.

Raised in the city of angels, Ellisa has found a home in Oakland’s creative scene, where comparisons to artists such as Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, and Feist come naturally. This unique blend of influences has earned Ellisa a spot as a top emerging artist by SF Deli, and SF Weekly called her song Unravel “as near to perfect as any song could be” and “damn gorgeous.”
