THE Y AXES
THE Y AXES
The Y Axes are a San Francisco-based indie outfit who play a unique blend of dreamy, synth-glossed pop and rhythmically muscular rock. Having initially formed as a recording project by vocalist Alexi Rose Belchere and guitarist Devin Nelson, the duo decided to take on the project full time after premiering a set of songs at their space and prom-themed joint birthday party in July 2011.

Their lineup completed by bassist Jack Sundquist and drummer Nick Schneider, The Y Axes collaborate to create energetic and hard-hitting pop with intricate instrumentations and ethereal vocal melodies that can stick in your mind for weeks.
MOSAICS
MOSAICS
Combining the songwriting strengths of Alt-J and the production agility of Four Tet and Apparat, MOSAICS is a San Francisco trio crafting and spinning catchy, emotive electro and experimental rock tracks.

With positive reviews from SF Weekly, Music Ninja, Indie Rock Cafe, Magnet Magazine, CMJ, The Big Takeover for their 2015 debut LP, Of Colors, and an exclusive remix competition via Magnetic Magazine, MOSAICS is increasingly recognized as a rising, hot new band in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The addition of vocalist and pianist Maryam Sadeghian to the original founding duo of Devon Kelts and Tyler Hill in 2016 has been a huge boost for the band, helping them to realize a greater depth and emotional range on their new EP, Year of Valor, another fascinating, carefully arranged and produced release to add to the MOSAICS' ever-evolving muse.
Adam Brookes (from Dangermaker)
Adam Brookes (from Dangermaker)
Born in Los Angeles, California, Adam Brookes began seriously writing and recording music around 1999 in San Francisco with a collection of cheap instruments and a four-track cassette recorder in the closet of his creaky old apartment. Playing one instrument or another since the age of seven, he remains connected to a lifelong passion for music, which began in the third grade orchestra, to guitar in junior high garage bands, keyboards in college, and beyond as a full-fledged songwriter. After forming San Francisco indie pop band Dangermaker, music went from pastime to obsession for Adam as he dealt with the sudden death of his father during the first week of tracking their debut album. The experience plunged him further into his art with urgency, eventually emerging with a euphoric sound that defines Dangermaker's new releases on Breakup Records. Adam's music has since appeared on radio, television & film, Nissan & Acura ads, as well as electronic compositions for The North Face inspiring a new indie hip-hop project Nites. He's recently stepped out on his own to flesh out new solo material in a purposely minimal take on retro pop and rock with a touch of electronic R&B, caught somewhere between The Raveonettes, The Kills, Wild Nothing or The Velvet Underground...
