LOCO TRANQUILO
LOCO TRANQUILO
Loco Tranquilo is a San Francisco band based in the heart of the Mission district. Over the past two years, they’ve been gaining momentum within the Bay Area music scene, playing multiple shows each month and earning a devoted and diverse following along the way. Fusing hypnotic and colorful melodies with funky grooves and jazzy, primordial rhythms, the band is known for moving people on the dance floor while also tapping into the inner workings of the human experience. Their distinctive style of music is made to create unity through universal feelings. During each show, they strive to create dream-like atmosphere, ushering listener on a musical journey and provoking inward sensitive exploration and communal celebration.
Locus Pocus
Locus Pocus
On the surface, Locus Pocus is five boys in a rock band making music on a coast historically infamous for producing rock bands.

That’s a reasonably adequate narrative, just like the term ‘indie rock’ is a reasonably adequate term to use to describe the the quintet’s music. That being said, it achieves only the bare minimum to convey the actual reality of the music. From the beginning, Locus Pocus’ music was a postmodern pastiche to the core. It was the kind of music that could only have come from classically-trained musicians who nonetheless remained convinced of rock’s power as an outlet for bravado, entertainment, catharsis, and mania. Consider the member’s steady diet of pop, their winking fascination with so-called dad rock, the incubator of the hyperactive Bay Area music scene, and you’ll get something closer to reality.
Wes Leslie The Bedroom Player
Wes Leslie The Bedroom Player
Hailing from San Francisco, Wes Leslie, the Bedroom Player is pioneering a genre he calls "bedroom soul."

It lays somewhere between self-aware white kid and Al Green whispering into your ear. His songs are introspective, concerned with love, loss and worker's rights.

They're often narrative, with a story arc and exact locations, namedropping lovers, streets and dive bars in Brooklyn and San Francisco.
Zelma Stone
Zelma Stone
Zelma Stone began with front woman, sound healer, roller skater, songwriting queen Chloe Zelma. She has been writing, producing, and performing her music in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2010. Her sound has been described as "if Margaret Glaspy and Angel Olsen had a child." In 2017, she teamed up with garage Rock guitarist, King of the Memes Kevin Fielding, disco diva Haley Pan (bass), and dope multi-instrumentalist audio engineer Jake Kissner (drums).
