ANOMALIE
The Full Four Piece Anomalie Live Band!

Anomalie (aka Nicolas Dupuis) is a keyboardist and producer based in the beautiful city of Montreal. Music has been in his blood since an early age, leading to more than 17 years of experience studying classical and jazz piano performance. He also became the first person to be awarded the Yannick Nézet-Séguin (Philadelphia Orchestra, Orchestre Métropolitain, Rotterdams Philharmonisch) excellence grant in 2012.

It was around that time he decided a change was in order. Using the moniker Anomalie, he began producing tracks infused with a combination of classical music, jazz, hip hop, funk, fusion and various electronic elements. Sounds hectic, but Nicolas pulls it off seamlessly as evidenced on his debut self-titled EP from 2013, and further confirmed by nearly 2M views his performance videos garnered on Facebook. Anomalie then made his debut on Lowtemp with single "Odyssée" in April of 2016. Soon after he began touring with Gramatik as his keyboard player on live shows, while also working on his second EP.

'Métropole is a glorious mixture of both classical and experimental jazz, funk, hip hop, and electronica. This may sound pretty intense, but Anomalie's skill as a musician pulls it off miraculously.' --Frequency21
Rob Araujo
Rob Araujo
Rob started taking classical piano lessons at age 5, eventually coming to study under Ida Trebecka and playing competitively throughout middle and high school. While studying Biology at Cornell University, Rob was exposed to and particularly intrigued by jazz and hip-hop, and worked for several years to form a unique musical voice colored by these influences.
Rob began a doctorate degree in 2016, but withdrew shortly after to pursue music full time. Since then, Rob has worked and performed with a wide variety of artists including Tom Misch, Masego, ELEW, MonoNeon, and many others. Rob currently resides in Los Angeles, California, doing work as a keyboardist, composer, producer, and teacher.
Ian Ewing
Ian Ewing
Ian grew up a self-taught multi-instrumentalist who has always been hungry to create musical ideas of his own. Upon entering college, he fell in love with hip hop and the history behind it. This was his gateway into electronic beat production where he finds himself today, as he strives to create ambient compositions of sample-based sounds blended with his own instrumentation. While he claims to be “the official soundtrack of hummus everywhere”, this has yet to be confirmed.
