SHEPPARD
SHEPPARD
Featuring siblings George, Amy and Emma, Brisbane-based indie 6-piece Sheppard have rapidly risen to fame, developing from unknowns just twelve months ago, to one of the biggest Australian acts on commercial radio - scoring multiple TV appearances and becoming one of the most - watched Aussie acts by the international music industry.

Sheppard have already started making serious waves overseas, with many sold-out headline shows, festivals and showcase performances abroad. Their latest worldwide sojourn (their 5th in 14 months) included performances at the most in-demand CMJ Music Marathon showcases in New York, and a standout appearance on Netherlands national youth radio broadcaster 3FM - all off the back of an acclaimed performance at Brisbane’s Bigsound conference in September.

The band’s breakthrough hit ‘Let Me Down Easy’ ignited radio airwaves around the world in 2013, hitting the Top 20 ARIA and airplay charts in Australia and the Top 10 in Thailand. The single, which is on its way to 130,000 sales, cracked the Top 100 on the CMJ college radio charts in the US last year and received further chart success in New Zealand, Holland and Thailand.

The band is currently in the studio working on their highly anticipated debut album (due mid-2014).

"Glossy electro-pop shows no sign of ceasing at this year's fest. Down in the tight spots of a packed studio at Webster Hall, Brisbane's Sheppard brought happiness and hand claps." --CMJ.com

"The highlight of the night, Sheppard's energy was infectious. They really knew how to get the audience involved, dancing and singling along with them.Sheppard was probably my favorite out of all of the bands I saw over the course of CMJ 2013." --Examiner.com

“Give me the guitar and I’ll give you the truth," sings Hailey Knox on “Take It Or Leave It,” the groovy lead track off her debut EP, A Little Awkward. She isn’t kidding. Over the course of the EP’s five knockout songs, the 19-year-old singer-songwriter, who built a considerable grassroots fan base through YouTube and live-streaming platform YouNow before signing to S-Curve Records late last year, proceeds to deliver an engaging, candid portrait of her life as a female member of post-Millennial Generation Z.
