Local Sirens is a free quarterly performance series presented by Women's Audio Mission featuring emerging and established local women-identified (cisgender or transgender) and non-binary artists. The September showcase will feature artists Dio Ganhdih, The Onyx, and headliner Lucy Camp as part of her Campfire Tour. http://www.womensaudiomission.org

Chhoti Maa was born in Guanajuato, Mexico and is currently based in Oakland. Chhoti Maa is a multidisciplinary cultural producer. She has self-released 6 projects (2 studio albums, 4 eps) in her 12 years as a MC, singer & producer. Her music is rooted in hip hop, neufolk and Mexican oral tradition, specifically her Grandma's storytelling magic. https://www.chhotimaa.com

The Onyx is an all black female music ensemble. This collective of women came together to solidify unity among women of color and to provide an artistic outlet for the female voice to be heard. Hailing from and recalling styles of Oakland, Atlanta, New York and Chicago, this eclectic group brings soul, rock, funk, and latin music to an electrifying peak that will have you on your feet! https://www.theonyxmusic.com/

Dioganhdih is a queer indigenous hip-hop artist and producer making waves in space where cis+heteronormative culture often remains unchallenged. Shouldering the strength and resilience of their Kanien'kehá:ka and Tsa’la’gi lineage, Dio’s vocal and hip-hop performance is a poetic and lyrical affront to colonialism. Dio’s vision is reflective of their Haudenosaunee ancestors inherent honoring of the Earth and commitment to intertribal relations, civic art and cultural engagement. https://soundcloud.com/dio

The B-Side Brujas is an All Lady, All Vinyl Group. http://amadeusmag.com/blog/b-side-brujas-community-reclaim-dancefloor/
