Cheekface was formed in 2017 when musicians Greg Katz and Amanda Tannen (of Stellastar* fame) started playing music together for fun, which led them to writing these very fun songs. Drummer Mark "Echo" Edwards later joined the band to record their first album and to begin playing shows. "Glendale", the band's first single, debuted online Jan 2nd, 2018. Instead of then releasing an album, they released a total of 8 "singles" throughout 2018 and into Feb of 2019. They have since had over 250k listens on Spotify, with their single "Dry Heat/Nice Town" racking up 150k listens alone. During the year the band played many shows (mostly in Los Angeles) and have developed a cult following. Their debut album, "Therapy Island" was released on March 20th, 2018. A second album is already underway. Stay tuned.

The Y Axes are a San Francisco-based indie outfit who play a unique blend of dreamy, synth-glossed pop and rhythmically muscular rock. Having initially formed as a recording project by vocalist Alexi Rose Belchere and guitarist Devin Nelson, the duo decided to take on the project full time after premiering a set of songs at their space and prom-themed joint birthday party in July 2011. Their lineup completed by bassist Jack Sundquist and drummer Nick Schneider, The Y Axes collaborate to create energetic and hard-hitting pop with intricate instrumentations and ethereal vocal melodies that can stick in your mind for weeks.

Sun Kin is the celestial Americana pop group of Kabir Kumar, an Oakland resident whose family never really settled anywhere while he grew up, resulting in wide-eyed, hopeful songs with a global influence.
