The anticipation is growing quickly as the fast-rising nu-disco stars of 2011---OLIVER—prepare to spread an epidemic of disco fever for their Bay Area debut at MELT. The Canadian duo, comprised of Vaughn “U-Tern” Oliver and pop producer Oliver “Oligee” Goldstein, have grabbed just about everyone’s attention by now it seems through their refreshing, funky disco/house sound that has lent itself to official remixes for Chromeo (“Hot Mess”), Sneaky Sound System (“Big”), Penguin Prison (“Fair Warning”), and even Britney Spears (“I Wanna Go”). The boys are set to release their “Dirty Talk” EP on the influential French record label Kitsune Maison in January just after the release of their previous singles “I Need You” and “Memories of the Future” which have received massive support from guys like Aeroplane & Mylo as well as charting at the top of both Soundcloud’s Hot Tracks and the HypeMachine Top 10.

This young LA trio have been making waves in SoCal for quite some time--fusing classic-rock swagger with an unrelenting electro sound--we're eager to see one of LA's best up-and-coming acts at MELT in their SF debut. They've been called "an impossible cross between The Black Keys and Boys Noize."
Fortune Cookie
Already melting faces alongside Diplo, Dillon Francis, Savoy, and AutoErotique, this Santa Clara DJ duo are proven experts in igniting the dancefloor and setting the club on fire.
