Mosquitoes in Yo' Grill w/ BUXTER HOOT'N Buxter Hoot'n is an eclectic roots rock band based in San Francisco, CA. The five member group has been together for four years and is considered 'the future of San Francisco's slightly psychedelic songwriting scene' (SF Bay Guardian). From virtuosic violin and guitar riffs to guttural lyrical poetry in the tradition of Bob Dylan and Townes Van Zandt, Buxter Hoot’n sets itself apart by combining rock 'n roll musical complexity and intricate harmonies with traditional backporch roots and soul. Emily Bonn and the Vivants"Emily Bonn is undoubtedly going to appeal to those who like a heavy dose of the traditional in their roots music. Instrumentation does not extend beyond acoustic guitar, violin, double bass and accordion and (sic) their is a washboard and stomp rhythm to most of the tunes. Bonn has a charismatic old school country vocal you just don't hear any more outside the phony imitations of the plastic-coated reverb-drenched Nashville scene." --Americana UK BrownChicken BrownCow StringBandA West Virginian-bred bluegrass band that now resides in Maui! "The boys seem to be able to craft their songs with a rare dynamism capable of luring and retaining a diverse constituency of listeners. ... Their playing is incredibly tight despite some damned intricate melodies and complex song structures, and they pull it off with the kind of comfort and ease." --Maui Times Weekly Kamp CamilleSongwriters Nathan Hughes and Chantelle Tibbs met while Nathan was performing in San Francisco. Off stage Chantelle complimented Nathan on how wiggly his knees are and the creme of collaborations was born. Two voices that were meant to be together under any circumstances. Americana Folk full of raw tales, and ambient passion. "Their voices are married. They weave in and out trading higher and lower vocal harmonies. Truly Guy/Gal Americana Duo Bliss."
