DATA DATA (aka David Guillion) makes a special SF appearance, offering a healthy dose of disco funk into this futuristic, next-generation pop, and reminding us more of Chic’s groove, the classiness of Shalamar and the dance-inspired sound of Quincy Jones, than current energetic techno hits with their take-no-prisoners sound. It's the second wave of "French Touch" emerging in the wake of the Daft Punk revolution. The 24 year old French producer and DJ is riding on a huge wave of momentum internationally with the release of his debut full length album Skywriter, which infuses a few catchy pop hooks, with a disco vibe, a smattering of synthetic/funk tempos and some sweeping, movie melodies, spiced it up with a little club music to fill the dancefloor and you’ve got Data’s first out and out sound surfer album. DATA continues to gain attention with his series of high profile official remixes for Justice, Felix The Housecat, Chromeo, M83, and La Roux, and that's just the beginning. Blasthaus resident DJ Nisus "DJ Nisus has been blowing up the speakers of San Francisco for quite some time. With his dirty grimy electro beats to bass thumping rhythms, DJ Nisus gives lovin’ to all electronic music genres. With a recently released mix called Bass Grenade 3 and the support of big houses like Blasthaus, there’s nothing but good times in store for him." --SF Station DJ SleazemoreDJ Sleazemore has shared the stage with the biggest names in the game such as Justice, Mstrkrft, the Sounds, Matthew Dear, the Cool Kids, Green Velvet, Boys Noize, Crystal Castles, Crookers, the Glimmers, Sinden, Guns n Bombs and countless others.
